Since 1996, I have kept a record of the activities of a pair of Sandhill Cranes, "Millie and Roy", who summer and nest in Goldstream Valley near Fairbanks, Alaska. 

Millie and Roy returned on April 22^nd for their 21^st year.
NestWatch 2016 will progressively update their activities over the nesting season.

2016.1 - Millie and Roy return
For the 21^st year, Roy and Millie reclaimed their nest territory.

2016.2 - No hatch but prolonged incubation
Millie and Roy incubate long after hatch was expected.

Nestwatch 2015 - Arrow
Arrow is coached by Millie and Roy, as she learns to forage, dodge danger, dance, and fly.

2015.6 - Run, flap, Catch Air
Arrow '15 and Pi '13 work hard in "ground school" as they practice wing flapping and gliding across the marsh.
